Named after the eponymous 1920s Hollywood starlet, Betty Blythe is a beautiful, vintage teashop and fine food pantry in west London that was founded in 2008 by owner Lulu Gwynne, an aficionado of all things vintage and glamorous.
Betty Blythe is a wonderful venue for a tasteful hen-do, offering delicious food served in delightful surroundings, your own private area, friendly staff and fantastic value for money. There’s an array of vintage clothes to dress up in and lots of fun activities to do such as cupcake decorating or fascinator making – you can even book a vintage styling session for your group.
Customers are welcome to bring their own drinks (for a small corkage fee), which helps keep the costs down and the staff at Betty Blythe are more than happy to help out with the planning.
For the summer months, why not book some of Betty Blythe’s fantastic picnic hampers for a quintessentially English picnic in one of London’s parks? Hampers can be delivered to a number of London parks and, for the ultimate experience, Betty Blythe can also provide staff to clean up, as well as vintage rugs, lawn games, glasses, cutlery – everything you need for a wonderful day out!
Perhaps you are looking for something a little special to complement the perfect venue for your big day? Betty Blythe now offers a fantastic outside catering service, bringing the unique ambience of the shop to private events, garden parties and weddings.
Whether you’re looking to serve a picnic for 2-30 people, afternoon tea or a complete canapé service, Betty Blythe’s catering and well-dressed staff will add a much-desired originality and a touch of glamour to your special day.
