Outside on the spacious lakeside terraces you can unwind with friends, chatting whilst the ducks paddle past. Continental glass screens and heated umbrellas give extra shelter along the waters edge.
Downstairs the bar bistro has a relaxed and informal atjosphere, whether in the large window seats overlooking the lake or in the cosy library, snug beside the wood burning stove. Being a free house there’s a range of cask beers plus a good selection of wines. The menu offers an imaginative choice of delicious food and there are monthly specials on the chalkboard
Upstairs, the beautiful Lake Suite has its own private terrace which is perfect for weddings and parties. The room can be divided and is very popular during the week for meetings, training days and conferences.
Sundays are always popular particularly the 3 course lunch served upstairs in a timeless fashion listening to the pianist. |
