The Banqueting Hall is an impressive room in which to hold a lunch or dinner for fifty to one hundred and sixty-eight guests or a reception for two hundred and fifty. Additional flexibility of space permits seating in various forms for up to a maximum of one hundred and fifty people in theatre style in support of seminars, meetings etc.
The windows, ceiling and panelling record in heraldic imagery the association of some eminent men with both the Company and the City of London. Its fine stained glass windows record its connections with the Monarchy and those members of the Company who throughout the ages have become Lord Mayor of London. Wooden panels depict the current and past Masters’ Coats of Arms.
The ceiling is adorned with five chandeliers, the centre of which is crafted from Waterford glass. This was presented by Sir Charles Price (Lord Mayor in 1803) and transferred from the Company's previous Hall in Fenchurch Street in 1917.
