Kate Moss Wedding Dress
Will John Galliano still be designing it in light of recent events..?
As we all know Kate Moss is set to marry Jamie Hince, lead singer of The Kills, sometime in July. Up until recently, the fashion world has been speculating that John Galliano, former creative director at Christian Dior, was to design her wedding dress. Moss and Galliano have been firm friends since the early days of her modelling career.
However, in light of recent events, Galliano may no longer be the chosen wedding designer. He has been accused of making anti-semitic remarks to a number of people and has been fired from his job at Dior. Some high profile celebrities like Oscar-winner Natalie Portman have distanced themselves from the designer; Portman, currently the face of Miss Dior's Cherie fragrance, has issued a statement saying "I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano's comments...in light of this video I will not be associated with Mr Galliano in any way".
Given this, what will Kate do next? Rumour had it that she was to design her own wedding dress anyway...maybe this will become her new plan? Tell us what you think..!
