The South London Gallery is a distinctive and unique setting for private functions, receptions and corporate events. From the beautiful high ceiling of the Victorian main gallery to the contemporary design of the gallery’s new extension, we offer a range of spaces for many types of events.
Regarded as one of the most elegant art spaces in London, the Main Gallery is only available to hire on occasional days and evenings throughout the year. With capacity for 150 seated and 200 standing, the main gallery is an ideal space for a wedding or civil partnership reception, awards ceremony, photo shoot, fully catered dinner or Christmas party.
The Clore Studio opened in June 2010 and has capacity for up to 60 people. Its contemporary skylight and fully pivoting doors into the gallery’s rear garden make this a fresh, light and airy space, whilst it can also be fully blacked out for film screenings and presentations. This is an accessible, self-contained and flexible space with seating, induction loop, projection facilities, kitchenette, toilet and cloakroom area. The Clore Studio is the perfect setting for a training course, away day, product and media launch, photo shoot, dinner party, drinks reception, or wedding and civil partnership celebration.
The stunning Double Height Room in the gallery\'s\' new extension overlooks the beautiful Fox Garden. With capacity for 18 seated, this is the ideal setting for a dinner, business breakfast, or champagne reception.
