The Most Curious Wedding Fair
March 31st in York Hall, Bethnall Green, London E2
We are so looking forward to The Most Curious Wedding Fair (we even love the name!). Self-described as 'the fair for fashionistas, trend-hunters, etsy and music lovers'. Definitely for us then! They began as a vintage wedding fair and although this is still definitely part of their fair repertoire they feel there is room for more inspiration in the world of weddings. So, their suppliers will favour the 20s, 40s and 50s but also a lot of cool stuff regardless of era. There will be almost 50 stand-holders with a handmade,
daring, bespoke, beautiful and perhaps a little edgy outlook, with vintage a recurring theme but not a requirement. A great place to see unique florists, antique jewellers, titillating underwear designers as well as en vogue ateliers who are making beautiful gowns for the bride who is inspired by Florence Welch rather than Katy Perry! Even better (and we know wedding fairs are not a man's Saturday outing of choice!) they have a 'Gentlemen's Area' to try out snuff and suits, and maybe even a wet shave!! There is also cabaret entertainment, cocktail-tasting, tea rooms, live music...how amazing does this sound..?? For more info go to www.vintage-wedding-fair.co.uk or please contact fair organiser
